How TheoryCraft uses cookies, local storage, analytics, and consent choices.
Last updated: June 23, 2026
What we use
TheoryCraft uses cookies and similar local storage for essential security, locale, session, consent, and service-preference features. Optional analytics technologies are used only after you accept them on landing, documentation, or public share pages.
Essential technologies
Essential technologies include CSRF/session protection, language preference, authenticated app state, dashboard theme preference, and the local record of your cookie choice. These are needed to provide a secure and requested service.
Optional analytics
If you accept optional analytics, TheoryCraft may load PostHog and Google Tag Manager on public landing, documentation, and share pages to understand traffic, product interest, and page performance.
If you reject optional analytics, these public-page analytics scripts are not loaded for that browser unless you later change your choice.
Changing your choice
Use the Cookie settings link in the footer on landing, documentation, or public share pages to reopen the banner and update your choice. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
